The US markets close mixed, hovering around the flat line for most of the day, amid a lack of major economic news as investors wait on the sidelines ahead of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke’s speech later this week.
Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.25% or 33.3 points at 13124.67. Nasdaq Composite was up 0.11% or 3.4 points at 3073.19. Standard & Poor’s 500 was down 0.05% or 0.69 points at 1410.44.
